As Things Go

‘A soft ray of light from the sun is entering the bedroom.  On the right bedside table lies a pen and a notebook on which is
written: NOTEBOOK OF DREAMS.’ Silvia Martes makes a short film about loosing, searching and finding.

Silvia just finished her education at Rietveld Academy and started her career as a audio-visual artist with winning the NFF Pitch Price 2013, with ‘As Things Go’.

My artworks deal with the personal dilemmas and experiences of the young female,
investigations of interior and exterior, shown in a created setting or as a depiction of the actual surroundings.
